OUR PLACE IS A WORLDWIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT THAT IS DEDICATED TO DOCUMENTING AND PROMOTING THE SITES THAT HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR THE UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE LIST.
OUR PLACE USES ITS ORIGINAL AND EXCLUSIVE PHOTOGRAPHS TO PROMOTE THESE UNIVERSALLY SIGNIFICANT SITES TO THE WIDEST POSSIBLE AUDIENCE, THROUGH A SERIES OF BOOKS, TV ITEMS AND THIS WEB SITE.
The sites selected as warranting UNESCO World Heritage status are a precious global resource that needs to be protected and preserved for future generations.
Like all resources, unless carefully managed, these unique sites can be damaged, badly exploited or even lost forever.
We at OUR PLACE believe that if people are made aware of the World's Heritage, then they will be able to care about the World's Heritage.
OUR PLACE, the World's Heritage, has been granted official partnership status with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and we are publishing a series of high quality photographic books and organizing OUR PLACE photographic exhibitions and other World Heritage focused promotional activities.
